Upload help
« on: February 27, 2008, 07:44:38 AM »
Hi - i'm new to 4images and need some help - is there any way by which 4images can use the file name of an uploaded image as the image name, and have common category for multiple uploads (i.e. instead of choosing the category 10 times for a multiupload having to choose it just once for all of them)

Thanks! :)

8 steps need when ask question -

- PHP version (ACP - > phpinfo())
- mySQL version (ACP - > phpinfo())
- 4images version
- Post screenshot / URL
- Post code in BB Code (no need full file for code) or post attach file
- It doesn't work. What is say - what is do for no work
- Install MOD ? If so - please say (troubleshooting)
- Read FAQ ? Install Bug fixes ?

Just when i was losing fait in 4images (no plugins for batch import work for me :( ).....

I realized that if you simply FTP the images to the data/media/<category ID>
then check for new images form Admin CP, you can directly validate them - the image file name is used as the Image Name, and the images are added to the category of whose id you put it in!

thats all what i needed from a plugin - and now i realize you dont even need a plugin for all this!!!

i love 4images!! :) :D

Thanks!!!  :D :lol:
