I'm using IM just fine.
Install it in:
X:\path to your mobile server root\diskw\usr\local\ImageMagick\

then in 4images use this path for IM:
/usr/local/ImageMagick/convert.exe

NetPBM should work the same.

@Nicky,
Wow, did not know he made this program, loosing him will be felt for a long time...
Thanks for reminding me...

@V@no,
You saved me again, nobody ever said to install it in the usr/local folder,
both of them are working just fine now, thanks!

FYI: V@no's instructions for imagemagick is correct and works fine.

for netpbm install it into
X:\path to your mobile server root\diskw\usr\local\netpbm\

then in 4images use this path for netpbm:
/usr/local/netpbm/bin

thanks guys!

4imagesMobilServer unter Windows 7 betreiben
« Reply #92 on: July 17, 2009, 07:44:49 PM »
Hallo,

Leider meldet meine Firewall bzw. Virenprogramm die Datei "4images_ms.exe" als Trojaner und löscht sie sofort.

Hatte ihr auch schon das Problem ?

Ich hab McAffee

Re: [PROGRAM] 4images Mobile Server: How to use E-Mail
« Reply #95 on: October 11, 2009, 11:11:36 AM »
Hi,

the Mobile Server is a great Application to test any customization before going online, so thanks very much for sharing this!

When I try to register a new user, sendig of the verification-mail failed with error-message

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in W:\www\4images\includes\email.php on line 171

Which settings are nescessary to get mailing to work? Or do I need to setup a local mailserver, too?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I think you have to set up the mailserver on ACP.

BTW:
Great tool, thanks.

PHP mail() want work on your local machine if you don't have an local email server on it..
what you can try is to set SMTP settings from your internet provider.
cheers

Re: [PROGRAM] 4images Mobile Server: not working anymore
« Reply #100 on: January 18, 2010, 10:04:43 AM »
Hi,

after running MS without any problems for a long time, today starting failed with errormessage in the command window

"The disk w is busy. Use start.bat [disk letter] or stop.bat to stop 4SAS"

There is no disk w on my local machine and I get analog errors when I change the disk letter in start.bat to another one. Also stopping MS or restarting the computer don't solve the problem. I also can't see any MS-process left open in the windows task manager.

Thanks very much for any suggestion!

 perhaps   http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=18352.msg120826#msg120826

Thanks for your reply!

Well, I'm running XP and as I wrote, there is no drive w nor changing of the drive letter does anything.
The strange thing is, that I ran MS frequently for month while developing my gallery and now after a pause of 3 weeks, I face this problem.

Are you running 4MS as administrator?
What XP version you are using?
Did you try redownload the package and see if it works when fresh?
