Image resizing... WOW

Ok lol, need a little help I cant figure our how this site is able to have a small image displayed here. http://www.vistawallpaper.com/details.php?image_id=181&sessionid=dc48aeab76573dfd717747cad23614dd
and when you download it it keeps all of it normal size. 1024X1024

Trying to do that on my site but cant figure it out.

That looks like a great mod and just what I need but I'm having a hard time following it becasue I don't read German at all.
