I have a 4images based free desktop wallpaper website: http://www.deskbeauty.net
Its shows same one title on whole the website either it is homepage or any category and you know its not good for seo.
As for better seo it is necessary that homepage has different meta title and description and every category has different meta title and description related to that category.
So we can get better ranking in search engines.

Will anyone please guide me how to do that.

How to successfully move a site to a new domain, redirected traffic coming into the old domain's pages to the corresponding page on the new domain, while preserving their search engine rankings?
I am using 4images Version: 1.7.4 and want to permanent redirect the whole site to new domain on same server and using linux hosting.

I will be very thankfull for your help.

We are running below websiite.

Yesterday one of our moderator deleted .htaccess file and now main page is working and category and wallpaper pages are showing 404 not found error bcoz we are using search engine friendly url mode, plz tell us how to recover .htaccess or admin or mode plz tell me what to do.

I am running two wallpapers websites.

www.walls4free.com
www.deskbeauty.com

Today both websites were working fine but now after five hours both are giving different errors.

www.walls4free.com is givng this error.

Recently i stared 4images wallpaper gallery and give 777 permission to template folder as this is recemmended to do in 4images script installation readme file and just after third day i satarted my site someone use templates folder for phishing and my hosting providors disable the site.
Will you please help how to prevent phishing from 4images as anyone who will us 4images script can be used for phishing, so i request you to please make a solution for this problem to safe 4images.

I need some modifications that will make my site wow... i want

How show categories always in sidebar list view instead at homepage ?
How show easy slide show and new images on other website instead 4images site ?
How show these with thumbnails?
Date, Views, Downloads, Submitter, Llightbox, Category, Comments
How show code at details.htm and thumbnails ? so that users put that code to forums, blogs, social communites to show our wallpaper there ?

I have searched for that topics but cant find so putting a new topic, hope i will get help replies.

I have setup my 4images wallpapers site and everything is good but when i click on any category it show random category title, for example if i have opened Animal Wallpaper Category it shows animal category wallpapers but instead of showing Animal Wallpapers title it shows random wallpaper title, sometime, 3D Wallpaper, Somtimes Girls Wallpaper Title, i mean every time random title.

Plz check my wallpapers site and help me.

Select any category and you will see that it shows select category wallpapers and description but shows random title.

Is there any way to put a post in more than one categories ? infacat i wanna make a wallpapers gallery so it is possible that a wallpapers go to two categories, so when users click on any category the should be available in both categories..

I wanna start my wallpapers gallery but i need two modification in my gallery, plz tell me how to show 12 new last uploaded wallpapers and 6 random wallpapers on main page ? remember random wallpapers should have to seen on every page while 12 new images only on homepage..

I wanna start 4images for wallpapers site but need some modifications, plz help.

1: How to show random images or new images in any other site ?
2: When any body click on image thumbnails it should be open in new window, i mean in gallery when anybody will click on image thumbnail then it will open details.php in new window where it will show original size image.

Plz solve my these two problems i will be very thankfull.

Hi Guyz
I have read "search engine friendly url aka short url" and using it but i need some modifications.
1: Tell me how to change category name, i mean "mycategory.htm instead of cat1.htm"
2:  Assume i have a site "www.mysite.com" now i have installed 2 4images script in that site one script in root folder and one in an internal folder name "folder1", now i change session.php and also put .htacess in root folder  according to "search engine friendly url aka short url" topic and this mod works fine with root folder but it didnt work in "folder1" script, plz help me what should i have to change in .htacces so it works fine wiht root 4images script and in an internal folder ?
