Compulsory description field

hello,

i have 2 websites with 2 image galleries and i'd like to know if it possible to make the description field (when uploading a picture) compulsory...

on a site i have version 1.7.2 and on the other one it's 1.7.3

we use word "required" instead of "compulsory" ;)
