Template Error
« on: November 22, 2010, 05:53:32 PM »
Hi:

I opened up my artist gallery link this morning and was welcomed with this message:
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/default/media/jpeg.html

I searched this site and noticed there was a similar problem on a post in 2002.

A file jpg.html is in the default folder on my server. I renamed it to jpeg.html and received the same message, except with "jpg.html"
Since I had a backup I copied it on to the server file and still received the same message.

If this is a permissions issue, can someone help me in locating where the permissions are located? I know the php on my host server has been updated.

I am using version 1.7.4 and my site is xxx: xxx: craftshownewsxxx:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
craft7

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

What you need to do is create a copy of jpg.html template and save it as jpeg.html
This should fix that problem.

In the future, I'd suggest you try out [Plugin] Valid file extensions manager v1.1 (2010-07-04) it will show you if any other extensions don't have a proper template and could lead to the same error.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)
Extension for Firefox/Thunderbird: Master Password+    Back/Forward History Tweaks (restartless)    Cookies Manager+    Fit Images (restartless for Thunderbird)
