New pics on top?
« on: December 25, 2005, 09:24:04 PM »
Hello,

was wondering if it is possible to have the latest added pictures on top of the page rather than underneath the categories... any ideas?
Thanks.

Hallo,

ich frage mich, ob es wohl möglich ist, die neuesten Bilder oben auf der Seite anzeigen zu lassen statt unter den Kategorien... Hat jemand eine Idee?
Danke.

No, V@no, I have that. But when the user first gets onto my images galery, they see on top all the categories which exist on my galery page. And there are quite a few of them. So, the users have to scroll down to see the newest pictures. But I want them to be on top of the "home" page. Does that clarify?

Ok, should have mention about home page ;)
So, if I understood you correctly, you want to show "new images" section above the categories list? If so, you can do that in home.html template.

All you have to do is change around your Home.html template file a little

Make sure to keep a copy of your original home.html file before you u change to this one.., even though i put a copy of your original in the zip

I made the changes for you ,download the zip, and decompress it , and replace in your ...templates/default/  Folder
