Preview thumbs on detail page (4images 1.7.1)

I have recently set up the gallery again for a friend and noticed that when you go on the detail page tzhere are no preview thumbnails of the previous or next image anymore.
If I remember correctly this was set in the previous gallery I had. Is there a way to get that back?
Couldn't find something with search .. :/

Oh and - I use a template by Bali Design (4waters).

look in default template, in file details.html
there are some commented lines, just use them in your template.
