Letting users re-upload/change their images
« on: September 23, 2010, 01:40:21 PM »
Hi folks,

at first, thx for this fine piece of software. We use it as a plugin archive for our open source CMS project. Therefore, we just changed the upload file type to ZIP and renamed "images" to "plugins" everywhere.
There is one issue I couldn't find a solution for; neither in the MOD's section nor within the FAQ:

How do I allow users to change (re-upload) their uploaded files?

For now, users send us their bugfixed or updated plugin's ZIP via email - and we admins re-upload it for them. Veeeery uncomfortable ;)
Looks like I am not the first with this idea, but none of these topics were answered:

Thank you for any helpful information.
Regards,
Arvid (der sich übrigens gern auch auf Deutsch antworten läßt - dachte nur, Internationalität und so )

Welcome to 4images forum.

So far I haven't seen any mods that would allow that.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)
