Maybe you should change the charset. See
Code: [Select]
$lang['charset'] = "iso-8859-1";
in your language files.

With the Auto-Thumbnailer. You should first set one of the required modules in the settings. Ask your host if one of the modules is installed on your server. You need GD, ImageMagick or NetPBM.

If nothing is installed, you can try the precompiled packages of NetPBM, downloadable here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7130

Upload all files in the zip to your server and chmod all files with 755. Then set the absolute path to this directory for "If you have selected "ImageMagick" or "NetPBM", enter path" in your settings.

You can create a new folder where you want, i.e. called "netpbm" in your 4images root folder.

i download it NetPBM , then unzipped it, then i uploaded the folder that has the files in it to the server inside 4images folder, then i went and set the path in the Admin Control
/home/*****/public_html/card/netpbm

now, how can i resize?

nowing that in the admin control i set:

Conversion tool for thumbnails
to NetPBM

Auto-create thumbnail
to yes

Thumbnail size in pixel
to 50

Proportions
to Resize proportionally

Thumbnail quality
to 75

*EDITED*

ok the page opened and it has:

Check database for missing thumbnails.    Images displayed:
| 10 |
-----------------------------
No entries found.

what does it mean?

NOT:
i downloaded two netpbm
1- one folder comes with many files in that one folder
2-6 folders and so many files in them

which one is it?
nowing that the # 2 download the file name is netpbm-10.12

i am confused.

how to install and start using it with 4images?

sorry, i am new to all that

thanx in advance for ur help

This means that there are currently no images without thumbnails available. If you want to resize existing thumbnails, use the Auto-Image-Resizer.

about Auto-Thumbnailer :

i can go and use it and resize the Thumbnail, but do i have to use it to resize every single Thumbnail that i upload?

is there a better way to do it with out resizing every Thumbnail manualy?

one more thing:
when a new user register, he/she doesnt recieve a validation e-mail as it suppose, any idea why is that?

Upload the images without thumbnails. After uploading i.e. 10 images go to the Auto-Thumbnailer. It will show you the 10 images without thumbnails and you can create thumbnails for all 10 images at one time.

Email problem:
Do you use SMTP? Most times, no SMTP server is needed Try to set "Use SMTP" to "No".

Whats your setting for "Account activation"? Do other email functions work like eCards etc.?

Use SMTP server   |||   NO

SMTP server host  |||  empty

SMTP username    |||  empty

SMTP password     |||  empty

===========================

also the ecard email doesnt sent.

how to solve this?
