Discussion & Troubleshooting / Javascript links
« on: April 23, 2006, 10:48:28 AM »
I want to display some small films from another site. They gave me authorization to do this, but they send the file address inside a CGI code, that looks more or less like this:

<a onclick="javascript:window.open('http://www.thevideos.com/pop_160.asp?COD=10&Exib=4307','','width=560,height=525,top=0,scrollbars=YES')" href="#">  Text or image here </a>

How could I make this work nicely inside the gallery?
Thanks!

 You are right, I am sorry

I try to change the username on the Controlpanel
Edit users - options/edit
I make the alteration on the username and when I click save I get:

Please recheck the marked fields
Username *

I created accounts to some artists and put their work into the gallery, the problem is that the username was wrong, but  I cannot change it, it gives an error...

Would hate to delete everything and reupload.. Is it the only way?

Oh dear..
Please donīt hate me.. It was really just to uncomment that file,
and it happened this to me for a long time ago.. when I had another template
Yes I should have  posted in a better way, but it is quite odd that my soundcard is not working at all
But thank you very much for your patience and help

Well..
Actually... I cannot listen anything on my computer.
I have a problem on the soundcard. But my friend tested the site to me and said that the mp3 are not playing, She said she can listen to any video files and mp3s but on my site, just the videos.
I have the site here:
www.brassar.se/galleria and
www.brassar.se/galleria/music
Still testing the site, I need to fix some design issues... but everything else should work...

Nope it doesnt work :(

I put the php.ini file EVERYWHERE but nothing happens :(
I put on the data directory, media, all the folders!
Nothing really!

Please could you try to think of something else I could try to do?
This is really making me nuts!

Hi the Oracle!
Yes I had a backup :) I could restore it

But there is something related to config.php and includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

When I first tryed to restore it, it kept giving me the connection problem.

The only solution was to install a fresh 4images via fantastico, than I restored the sql and copied all the old files to my new installation except for  config.php and the includes/db_mysql.php.

This worked, but I still would like to know what is the relation with these two that doesnt allow the database to connect if you change to another database...

Hi!
I have searched the whole site now and I would like to ask.
I had my gallery working with a database imga1.
I copied it to another directory and wanted to have a database imga2 to it.
When I changed my config.php, only in the database name I got that connection error. Since than Iīve been trying everything I could.
The last thing I did was really STUPID! I deleted my imga1
Now I try to reupload the sql file and the error continues!?!

And now, who could save me?
