I am sure someone has created something like this out there, but I had no luck findiing such a thing in here. I think it would be very cool, and probably simple to create a "Photo Contest" mod where it would base it off the IP and cookies so that it would pop up a new window with the contest info the first time the visited after a new contest had been created. After that, if they revisited it would not pop up, rather only when they clicked the Contest link.

Again, I searched the forums for this but had no luck. Anyone already do this, or would be willing to do this?

When you add file info on the picture, if I add the title of the name to the Headline metadata, is it possible to pull that Headline metadata into the Image Name field when I check new images into the database? That would be simply amazing if I could do that.

I have searched for this and got nowhere finding it but saw several other users requests with no posts back, so I feel like I am speaking for many 4images users.

What I (we) would like it to do is when you check new images into the database, the registered users get an email notifying them that there have been new images added. What would be even better is that a user could also check in their view of the control panel when logged in which categories they wanted to recieve for if they did not want to recieve for all. In other words, every category would be the default, and if they didn't want emails on a certain category, the uncheck it and update it. All the email would say is there are new images added to the following categories... XXX > (link here).

I believe many people would like this. I am not good with writing PHP at all.

Hopefully someone can do this, I do not believe it would take long to do.

How do I output the actual filename. I tried  image_media_file but that does not output what is in the database under that column name.

Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / View Members for End User with downloads

Hey -

I  have the download mod installed where it puts the image ID number into the database and you can view it when searching in the ACP under edit users.

I want to make a page for the end user area which I can not find in here for a mod, but to where you can view all members, and it shows them how many images they have downloaded, and then a link that shows a search page with the thumbnails of those images.

I don't know if I am blind to a topic in here that is in english for this, or what but any help is very much appreciated.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / if it is a certain user id...

i want to put in a line of code on the details page if it is a certain user id. i know it sounds stupid but i just want to put in a line of code so that if that users id = 4 then it shows them the download button. i have it as a pay per image site, but i work for my school and i want the one person on the paper to be able to download images for free obviously.

how do i do that to see if they are logged in and id = (their id #)

I have been searching through the forums for a user level mod that allows you to say add a new user level that would be somewhere inbetween a registered user and an administrator. I found a couple that are in a different language and tried to translate them but it didn't look like what I was exactly looking for.

Does anyone have this implemented on their site, or possibly give me some tips on how to do this? I even looked through my database trying to find where I could add someone that would give them a new name so I could select that as the user level.

What I want to do is on the details page, give certain people the right to download even though it costs money to get a picture, they can still have the download button without giving them the administrator rights. I have put the download and zip button inside of the admin_links on details.html page.

How about a cart system that works easily with 4images where instead of the download image, it is a purchase image which takes them directly to paypal to pay the price for the image which you set when you upload them, or you can set a default site wide price. After they successfully pay it emails them a download link for the picture, or emails you that it was success and then you email them a link. That would be easy to do probably and if I knew PHP well enough I think I could do it, but unfortunatley I don't know it well enough.

I know there are a lot of coppermine mods for this, but I hate coppermine.

Any ideas, anyone that could help me out a little bit?
