was für einen anspruch auf hilfe hast du?
worüber beschwerst du dich?

hast du auch nur einen cent für das script bezahlt?
wird hier irgendjemand für seine hilfe bezahlt??
gibt es hier über 26000 (!) postings und dazu noch eine suchfunktion???

jeder hilft hier freiwillig und gerne.
könnte es vielleicht sein, daß niemand eine antwort weiß?
gib doch einfach mal "line 215" als suchbegriff ein, bevor du hier rumtrötest.

hey, that was the trick!!

there were some other lines to change the syntax too and now it works!

my annotation is:
1) you have found the problem
2) it depends really on the 4images script(!)
3) you have found...

regarding point 2):
this problem with the syntax should be a general advice to other people who will have the same problem in the future, shouldn´t it?

first, thanx for this detailed examination!
although i´m not able to write javascript (the menu is just copied from the output of my cms http://www.typo3.org) it´s very interesting to see the following:
if you call the header.html directly (with the link above) the source code displays:

       function blurLink(theObject)        {
                if (msie4)        {theObject.blur();}
        }

if you call the index.php it shows

       function blurLink(theObject)        {
                if (msie4)
        }

???

hi all,
is someone able to do this mod as a selfjump box as the ohter mods with dropdown lists? i have the category dropdown list and the images per page list as selfjump box, so this would be the only one where i have to click "go"...
i don´t know anything about php, so this is just a humble request

ok,
to be more specific:

if i call the header.html directly it works.
if i call the index.php it won´t work in the same way, so it must have to do with some things in the 4images code...

i´m not able to find and correct these problem, because i don´t have any knowledge about php  

it´s really a main problem for the whole gallery-site.

is someone here who knows this problem (maybe jan himself   )?

btw.: am i the only one who has ever tried the implementation of a superior (javascript)menu? or is there a big bug in my procedure?

also hast du tatsächlich dasselbe problem wie mikix?
die lösung dafür ist ja oben minutiös erklärt.

ich wiederhole es trotzdem nochmal:
-die config.php muß die entsprechenden werte enthalten, sonst wird sie gar nicht wirksam (siehe entsprechenden link in meinem zweiten posting).
-sie soll im hauptordner der installation liegen.
-damit sie beim installieren direkt richtig beschrieben wird (damit du also erst gar nicht gebeten wirst, die runter- und wieder raufzuladen), solltest du VORHER die rechte des hauptordners entsprechend setzen (siehe oben...)
- falls es nicht hilft, mußt du sie runterladen, die werte von hand eintragen und wieder hochladen, womit wir wieder beim anfang wären...

zusammenfassung:
wenn du die adresse deiner installation abfragst und es existiert keine, oder eine nicht ausgefüllte config.php, dann gibt es kein signal, daß die installation überhaupt existiert und somit springt natürlich automatisch die installationsdatei ein.
sobald die existenz mithilfe einer config.php nachgewiesen wird hält sich die install.php natürlich zurück, denn es gibt ja nun nix mehr zu tun.

also ich muss jetzt alles wieder neu machen weil ich alles gelöscht habe aber für mich hat das ein anderer gemacht.
wieso kommt wenn man die konfigurationsdatei runterläd die install.php? ist das so?

wo ist das problem?
stell doch bitte mal eine konkrete frage.
ich konnte aus deinen beiden sätzen mir nur zusammenreimen, daß du dasselbe problem wie mikix hast.
falls ja, dann hab ich weiter oben schon alles gesagt.
es gibt ja auch noch eine installationsanleitung...

also nochmal:
was hast du gemacht?
was für ein problem gibt es?
alles ist möglich...
