help: admin access.. no password

i bought a site from a person, i paid him and all but he didnt give me the admin password.. and now he doesnt replies to my email.. the website is still running his adsense ads and all..
what do you suggest should i do.. how can i get admin pasword. I do have ftp access. is it possible for me to re install and still have all the images.. please help me out

Hi, as Rembrandt said you are not allowed to remove the copyright except purchased a copyright-removal license.
