this question should be addressed to the last images mod. media sites mod doesn't add any extensions to the url, so your method with mysql query wont work.

can you see the thumbnail in the data folder?
if thumbnail is there, open it in a text editor, see what's in there.

now, try this situation. there are 4 images in one category with ids: 1,2,3,4
in second category there are 3 images with ids: 5,6,7
when you open image 4, it will show next image 5 from another category - good. now delete image 5 and 3. open image 4, it wont show any next images...

4images doesn't save original images after resize, so if you try resize small image to larger size, the result quality will be bad. I'd recommend re-upload original images via ftp directly into categories folders an overwrite existing images (tutorial in faq section)

Welcome to 4images forum.

4images doesn't support such inputs, your best option at this point is submit url for the image in "remote image url" field, with sdditional info, such as copyright, in image description

yes, that is correct. 4images does't care at which ip the request came from. some isp work as proxy, and each refresh could come from different ip (i.e. everyone's favourite aol)
