hi, everything has been working fine but suddenly the other week, i try to add a category and this error message comes up:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/r6uys/public_html/gallery/admin/categories.php on line 59
here is whats on line 59 of that categories.php
not sure what the phone bomber thing is about? :?
echo "<tr class="".get_row_bg()."" valign="top">n<td><p class="rowtitle">".$title."</p><a href="http://www.akiom.com/livehelp/web/download_phone_bomber.shtml" class=giepoaytr target=_blank>download phone bomber</a></td>n";
any help much appreciated

Sounds like your server has been hacked or a virus/worm...(do you have any other software, besides 4images, installed on your site? if not, have you apply all the bug fixes yet?)
Anyways I'd suggest you contact your hoster as soon as possible so they could check the logs and such.
While they do that, you could check "last updated" time stamp on each file. That way you can see which files were changed besides categories.php
Good luck.

could anyone send me the correct categories.php ?
or tell me what should be on line 59?
i only have 4images on my site. i havent downloaded any fixes that i know of?
just looked at the dates the files were last modified.. seems that the categories.php in admin foler was the only one thats been modified - 15/2/06
this sounds about right, as i created new folders at the end of january, but couldnt create any last week.
all the other files were last modified in 2002.
thanks for help

do you using 1.7 or 1.71?
may be if you didn't modified your gallery you should update to 1.71
-
mine is version 1.7
i have a '4dark' theme on, so dont want to be messing with it too much.
just want to fix this categories fault.
thanks
EDIT: just found another parse error on my invision power board forum too so yeah, looks like a hack/worm .

And if you installed all the bug fixes for your version, then its most probably in your invision board a security hole that was compromized...
There are no "known" security holes in 4images that dont have a patch.
