Combine Registration -- Xoops + 4images. Possible??
« on: August 17, 2005, 11:54:33 AM »
I remember my very first post in this forum was about integration with Xoops (with separate DB). But now I have convinced myself that it’s not possible.
I did find a module in xoops.org that let install 4images as a module BUT it limits not to use so many mods and hack that I love to have. So it didn’t work for me.

But I desperately was looking for something that could be of some use. So I m going to ask this.

Is this possible that the standard XOOPS registration page can be used to register the user at 4IMAGES. 4Images registration need 3 things ( Username, Pwd and Email ) while Xoops have a lot of other options. So is there any way around this can be done. ( I mean using one input filed for two different Databases)

I am not a programmer but I hope my words are understandable. Pardon me if I am asking something stupid.
But if this could be done, users will need not to register twice and they will have one user name on both scripts. (Certainly the need to login separately But at least it will be of some use coz Something is better than nothing)

Somebody Please Please help me.
I was looking Xoops + 4images Integration but since it’s not possible. Is there anything I can do to make one registration for both???

By this I just mean those users don’t need to register separately. So they will be able to have one username for both applications.

If this is not possible. Certainly I can’t do anything but if it is, It will be a Great help.

I m not asking for integration thing.
Just that a user dont need to register sepratly for both scripts. Thats ONLY because i want that user will be able to have the Same username for both scripts. If this is not possible, Please tell me.  Or please help me coz i cant do this on my own.

I havent seen anyone posted how to integrate it.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)
