Importing usernames & passwords from external database.
« on: March 14, 2008, 07:01:57 AM »
I'm trying import password stored in external database to 4images.
The transferred passwords are encrypted via md5 password encryption, but still don’t work.
In the database the stored passwords are much shorter that the passwords originally created in 4images.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

hi,

are you sure that are md5 passwords without changes in your previous scripts/table?

if you try with phpmyadmin to change a password from a user like i did (see screen shots)..

4images using the same (CLEAN)procedure..

i saw some scripts they using md5
but adding some stuff to the password or splitting passwords into 2 fields.
cheers
