Top Images

Is there a way to show Top-Votes and Top Ratings in Toplist the right way?
I try to show you the problem.
Users in my gallery can vote from 1 to 10. If there are more than one image with a 10, the images has to be sorted from most 10 votes to less.
Look here: http://www.terradreams.de/gallery/top_rate.php

On first place = 10 Points (2 votes)
On place 18 = 10 points (14 votes)

So the image on place 18 is much better. I get many mails from users cause they think the list is wrong.


Same on Top-Votes http://www.terradreams.de/gallery/top_vote.php
Same votes but less points are sometimes higer in the list.
Is there a way to show the list the right way (better images first)?

try this please:

find in top.php

// Rating

4 lines unter it you'll find "ORDER by i.image_rating" etc.

Replace this line with

 

Code: [Select]

ORDER BY i.image_rating DESC, i.image_votes DESC


The problem should be solved

@Cr@zy Sash: Teilweise fällt es mir schon schwer auf englisch genau zu erkläre wo das Problem liegt. Die Schule liegt schon lange zurück
