Title: ERROR upload images. but impossible!

Hello,

I have downloaded "4images" and I've made the upload on my server unix via ftp.
i've created the database mysql.
I've set it up and intalled the script.
everything ok, everything works: user registration. forgotten password, edit users, e-mail and other funcions.
but there is something that doesn't work: upload of images.
obviously I've applyed the permissions 777 and 666 to folders and files indicated in the instructions.
I've made the application of the permissions several times.
nothing happened.
when I try to do the upload of an image (anyone: jpg, gif, any kind and weight, even more little than necessary, I get a generic error and it doesn't upload the image.
what can I do? where am I mistaking? I really don't understand.
i've been making the procedure many times, but without succeding.

ho scaricato "4images" e ho provveduto ad effettuare l'upload sul mio serve unix via ftp. Ho creato il database mysql. Ho configurato e installato lo script. Tutto ok. Funziona tutto: registrazione utente, email, e le altre funzioni.

Ciņ che perņ non funziona č l'upolad delle immagini.
Chiaramente ho applicato i permessi 777 e 666 alle cartelle e ai file indicati nelle istruzioni.

L'applicazione dei permessi l'ho fatta e rifatta diverse volte

Ma nulla.

Quando vado per effettuare l'upload di un immagine (qualunque essa sia: jpg, gif, di qualsiasi dimensione e peso, anche notevolmente inferiori a quelle necessarie, mi da errore generico che non ha caricato l'immagine.

Come posso fare? Dove sbaglio? Davvero non capisco.
Ho fatto e rifatto la procedura tante volte ma senza successo.

Attendo vostro gentile aiuto in merito.

2) Which upload form did you use, members upload form or in ACP (Admin Control Panel)?

I used them both, members upload form and ACP.

And it doesn't give you more details about the error? this is weird....

try [MOD] Batch Copy/Move/Edit Images (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6759.0) it will not solve the problem, but might give more details about the error.
