free hosting is ALWAYS going to come with side effects. Your best bet is to get some cheap $5.00 a month plan somewhere

try http://www.f2o.org. I've been using this host for awhile but I just found that they just upgrade their system. How great to host 4homepages.

and from its list I had absolutely no trouble to open an account at http://www.100webspace.com/freeplan.html
and so far its the easiest to use host I found. :)
