My media image varies in width and length, but is it it possible to make all the thumnails to have a fixed width of 150?

Yes, and is it possible not enlarge image for thumb if it's smaller then thumb size?

you can already show one size online and have a different size available for download. Let's say your online image is 450 px wide and you want people to download the original file is 1600 px wide.

In the image edit screen there is a download url text box. Put in the url of the original sized file here and everytime someone dowloads this image they will get the big file.

yeah, right, but that's kind of...pain...
then, if someone upload an image, then what url he gonna put for original? all this admin have to do?

thx alot!

when I use this:
Code: [Select]

<td class="row2">
 {if prev_image_name}{lang_prev_image}<br />
                              <b><a href="{prev_image_url}">{prev_image_name}</a></b>
 <br /><br /><a href="{prev_image_url}"><img src="{prev_thumb_file}" border="1"></a>
 {endif prev_image_name}&nbsp;</td>
                            <td align="right" class="row2">
 &nbsp;{if next_image_name}{lang_next_image}<br />
                              <b><a href="{next_image_url}">{next_image_name}</a></b>
 <br /><br /><a href="{next_image_url}"><img src="{next_thumb_file}" border="1"></a>
 {endif next_image_name}</td>

to display thumbs under next/previous images links it doesnt show icon for non pictures files (zip, avi, mp3)
since " {next_image_url} " points to /media/ folder without filename.
can I fix it some how?

when I sellect few images as favorites (lightbox) then click on 'favorites' link it shows thumbs of the sellected images. ok, then, if u click on any it will show the image, but links 'next/previous' will point to images from that category, but not from my favorites...
would be nice if u could go next/previous inside favorites too...

But I think it is not the best idea to tell other trix here in this forum.
You can never really protect any files from interent, the best way is only to close the doors.

what other trix? ;)

Really???   8O  How "just drag'n drop" :?:

open any page with picture on, then open a folder where u want save a pic.
then left mouse click and hold on the image, and just drug 'n drop it to the folder u opend.
no right clicks, no CTRL, just old fashion drag'n drop...stealing...;)

thx, bovkun. it works.
but still, ppl can just drag'n drop pictures.
is there a way disable that too?

just have an idea, if I want show photos from a trip, I'll need upload each file one-by-one and it's really pain (300+ photos).
so, is there a way to make some import files from dir?
for ex. it could be done by this:
go to admin control panel and click on import button, type where are your photos, sellect cattegory u want to import those files to.
script scan the folder and copy all files to /data/media/"category folder".

what do u think?

Image-Cafe, u just read my mind! I was gonna ask simular question:
I'd like make an option from user side, where they can chose from look pics with size they want: 640x480,800x640,1024x800,1600x1024 and original,  or 25%, 50%, 75% and original.
I've seen that in other image managers, where user can sellect from drop down menu what size of images he want to look.
it would be nice that script would resize image when it asked by user and saved it to "/data/resized/filename(size).extention" and by clicking on the image it would shows the original.
admin could sellect what sizes and compression level, choose what default size...
well, that's just ideas I'd like to see in future versions.

P.S. guys, this is best images manager script I've ever seen!
great job!!!
