Hello!
I face the following problem which i cannot explain:
I normally batch process my photos' "file info" using adobe bridge CS3 (problem in 4images appears with data fields "description" and "keywords").
After doing so, i upload the images via ftp to my server, but the "iptc caption" button does not appear in the "check new images" field (4 images does not recognise iptc given to the images using bridge CS3).
Now the strange thing:
I open the same images (which were previously processed with bridge) with photoshop CS3 and all IPTC is there!
Just for experimenting, I only add just one word anywhere in the file info fields (eg the "author" field which used to be blank) and save the image (in Photoshop cs3).
I then upload it again via ftp to my server and then the "iptc caption" button is there for the data fields "description" and "keywords" (note that these two categories were not changed at all when in photoshop).
Can someone explain this? Is it a bug of 4images? Is there something i can do to make 4images recognise iptc given from bridge?
Using bridge for giving iptc to images is so very faster compared to using photoshop (which even in batch processing for file info needs to "open" every single file, "play" the "action" and then "save" and close...)
