Title: how can i block auto bot ip?

an ip adress auto-download my all images. this ip is 66.249.66.85. how can i block this ip in my admin panel?

Create a text file with names .htaccess in the root.

write the following in the text file:

Code: [Select]
order allow,deny
allow from all
deny from 66.249.66.85
The ACP is not going.

edit: or the ip number to be blocked.

Hi,

The IP address which you blocking is Google bot.

Which helps your webpage to improve your search ranking.

You can also block the google bot in certain folder's using google webmaster tool.

just 4 your info.. ip 66.249.66.85 belongs to Google  8)
it would not be smart to block them ;)
