Video Details load VERY slow when hosted on external server

i host some vids on my gallery. however due to space and bandwidth constraints i hosted some vids on another server. I placed the "image" i.e the video in my main gallery linking to the external file. However when I click on the thumb of the video which is just the default avi pic it takes AGES to load the detail page of that video

when it does load the file downloads more or less instantly. but the initial loading of detail page with the download button takes ages. like 30 secs to 1 min

vids hosted on my server where gallery is hosted load instantly.

can anyone tell me why this is so as i will need to host more vids on external servers in future. and if there is a solution to it

You're just having all kinds of speed issues huh?  
How about linkifying us so we can check it out.

oh yeah i did check the forums here. only solution i found was turning off remote checkig. however my gallery already has that turned off. i.e  in includes/constants.php

if anyone can enlighten me with some solutions

BTW thanks for your previuous helps. i implemented the cache suggested by csidon and it makes a greta difference in speed. also turned off random image.

but now another problem with external vids.

any help?

Linkify means toss up a link to where ever you're having problems/issues.

this and 2 other vids are hosted on external servers they all load slowly i.e teh details page.

other vids hosted on same server load instantly.
