Ran into an interesting problem when validating User uploads- Validation changes upper case letters to lower case letters. With the Auto Image Resize/BIG MODS, this poses a problem, as the BIG (original) file remains as is if it has upper case letters. The resized image is changed to lower case.
The prob comes in when someone goes to download the file (or view in a new window... couple of MODS for that too). The upper case BIG file is not recognized, as it is "different" than the lower case shown image on the details page.
Admin Direct upload from the category page does not have this problem, since the image doesn't go through validation.
Is there a fix for this in validation so the file name remains as is and is not changed?
Using v1.7.9 btw....
