can't log in at all

i have installed a fresh version of 4images i.e. 1.7.4 but for some reasons i can't log in at all

it's doesn't give error it says redirecting & then it goes to the log in page again!

it is weird
i even tried the thread for i can't log out!
so could u advise please?

Do you use mod rewrite?

Then try to put an empty .htaccess File in to the Admin Folder...

well that's cause i tried replacing the sessions.php from an old copy i deleted all files & dropped the database still can't log in? with older versions no problem what so ever!

i have the same problem.
in the admin login it says "u are redirectet" and then go back to login. the same with the user login.
i am using apache 2.2.4 and php 5.2.0.
for the background, i transerfed the site to a new hoster. imported the DB using phpmyadmin, changed the config.php and it just worked fine. i can surf trough the whole page, but cannt log in. other users can't log in as well. bevor the tranver it all goes well.

i supose it could be the directory rights in apache, because i dont have so much knowledge about apache ...
here are my directoy settings:

anyone any ideas?
