Nicky, kannst du evtl. eine Anleitung geben wie du das gemacht hast?
Habe nämlich momentan auch dieses Problem... Bin von PHP4 auf PHP5 ungezogen (ist das relevant?) und meine Sonderzeichen gehen nicht mehr!

Hallo,
ich habe das gleiche Problem. Es werden alle Umlaute in allen IPTC Feldern nicht richtig dargestellt.
Ich habe mit den im Forum empfohlenen Lösungen keinen Erfolg gehabt.

Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Benutzer: kosecki@localhost
MySQL-Zeichensatz: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
Zeichensatz / Kollation der MySQL-Verbindung:

phpMyAdmin - 2.11.8.1deb5
MySQL-Client-Version: 5.0.51a
Verwandte php-Erweiterungen: mysql
Sprache - Language : Deutsch

Was soll ich tun??

Bei mir besteht das gleiche Problem. Wir können ja nicht alle Nicky beanspruchen. Hat niemand eine Anleitung?
