Hello,

I hope I am able to explain what I am looking to try and do...

Currently on my site when you click on a category from the home page it takes you to the category page with the list of images (as the standard 4images software does). I also have a link to an outside site for more images, however I don't want them to leave my site, so I would like for the link to open within the same frame as the images.  So that when that external page is showing it is within my 4images page so you can still see all the categories, logo etc.

Does that make sense?
I did search the forum, but was unable to locate any forums that discussed doing this, even the FAQs.

I want them gone however when I tried to remove them it removed my side bar as well.

How do I remove the expand state so that the side bars stay visible on all pages? Without he viewer being able to change it?

I searched,but couldn't find the answer.

Hi,
I did a search and couldn't find anything on this.
I would like to remove the image counts from the category page and the home page next to the categories.

I am not talking about the total image count that is present on the home page.

Installation, Update & Configuration / New Directory - Transfer site using old database help needed.

 I recently installed a new clean version of 4images onto a different directory. I have a large 4images site running on the same server already.
What I would like to do is switch everything over to the new directory ie. using the same database as the original and transfer all images too.
I have searched this site for how to do this correctly without screwing everything up and I haven't found an answer.

Can anyone help me. What is the best way to do this?

Hello,
I tested the code on the default template and it works fine. Then I started to do it to my site which is using the wallpaper template. The search for code doesn't match up so I am totally lost. Not sure if your familiar with that template if not here is the link to it

Wow thanks. I am going to work on it today. I will let you know how it comes out. I am using the "Wallpaper" template that was given out on the
forum under templates.

I am using the wallpaper theme on 4images 1.74 and want to create a column on the right as well.
I have a column on the left that holds my categories,random image, registration,whos online etc.
I want to place one on the right for advertisements and rss news.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this done?

Yes, I did that. It told me to copy the  new template files (exif_bit.html, rss.xml, rss_item.xml, images/rss.gif). Then add them to my template from the default template.

Do I need to do all the other stuff on the links too?

I just updated from 1.72 to 1.74 I read that I needed to copy over the files from default for rss. So I did except I do not have an rss.gif in the images folder or anywhere else.
Where can I get this file?

Right now when trying to upload my users get the error to enter verification number but they cannot see one or where to enter it.

Please help this is very urgent.

Well I don't know what my host did after asking them if they did anything but so far it is working fine. (KNOCK ON WOOD) Fingers and toes crossed lol
I really appreciate all the help. I am going to work on getting it totally updated. Just do it slowly and back everything up.

My host just emailed and said the account was switched from PHP4 to PHP5 to prevent directory permission issues. That was the only thing changed.
Could that be it?

I am totally terrified at updating, I don't want to loose all my mods.
