Problem with uploading rar-files

Hallo,

I plan to start a new 4images gallerie. I tried to upload ".rar"-files.

I inserted into the upload_definitions.php

Code: [Select]

$mime_type_match['rar'] = array("application/x-rar-compressed", "application/octet-stream");
and I created a rar.html into the templates folder with the correct content.

Now the problem is, that it is possible to upload a rar-archive with Internet Explorer, but not with Firefox.

When I upload a file with firefox I get the error message

Code: [Select]

vBUS.rar: Die Datei hat ein ungültiges Format (rar, application/octet-string)
I activated rar in the Settings.

Ich plane in Kürze eine neue 4images Gallerie zu eröffnen (also mit 4images erstellt). Hier soll auch der rar-upload möglich sein.

In die "upload_definitions.php" hab ich folgendes eingefügt:

und eine "rar.html" im templates ordner erstellt (bei media.

Mit IE klappt der Upload, mit Firefox kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

Bei den Einstellungen ist rar dazugeschrieben...

Kann mir jemand helfen?

hast es in ACP auch dazugeschrieben (erlaubte dateiendungen).

abgesehen davon,wo ist den das problem wenn die rar files zuerst gezipt werden?
die i-net browser können das format ja sowieso nicht anzeigen.
