Error message - Resize with imagemagick

Hi

Because I loose the EXIF information with GD I want to create the thumbnails with imagemagick.
In ACP I have choosen "c" and I have entered the path "/usr/bin".

When I start the resizer, I get the following message:


Konvertiere Bild-Datei: 32q_PICT0291.jpg (3264x2176) .... 
Fehler beim Konvertieren der Bild-Datei!

This message says not exactly what is wrong.

Can anybody help me.

Are you sure that IM is installed on your server?

I asked the provider an he gave me the path "/usr/bin".
Regarding my provider, it is installed.

Without this path I get a message "wrong path or IM is not installed".

what did you do? I didnt get it...

I asked my internetprovider, if IM is instaled.
He said yes.

I asked for the path, where IM is installed.
Then I entered the path in ACP.

Now I get this error message "Fehler beim Konvertieren der Bild-Datei!" (error converting the image).

did you include word convert at the end of the path?
