Sending email and ecards

Hi,

I am using 4Images 1.5Beta on a Windows 2000 Server. I can't get the email function working. As I don't have SendMail (it's a Win2000 server) I think I have to use SMTP. Filling out the proper fields in the Admin module won't do the trick. When registring as a user I get various smtp error, most of the time the 250-TURN message.

Can you help me setting up this thing?

Hi,

are you sure that your server supports authentication? Try to leave username/password blank in your settings.

Thanks Jan, leaving the name and password field blanc does the trick.

A quick other question. The Reset Stats function does not work. I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '>' in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\gallery\admin\stats.php on line 49

Any ideas?

Hi,

yes, this function contains bugs. Many users reported this before. This will be fixed in the final version.
