Only show image description if there is one

im wondering if there is any possibility to only show the image description  (in details.htm e.g), if there really is written one... somthing like

{if description}<br />{description}<br />{endif description}

and ideas?

... this works in all my 4images vers. 1.7 - 1.7.4 ... modfied, customized and default ...
... if you modified your version so, that this don't work for you ... then sorry for you ... hehe, hoho, haha ...

i knooow... it wasnt meant that way.... i just couldnt believe that it was soo easy and that i already had the solution in my hands. thanks for your help!
