OK done and it worked, so thanks once again!
Why did it suddenly want to show exif information? It has never done that before...
As I said, I haven't done any changes to my gallery (including picture uploads) for the past couple of months.
Best regards

Hey guys
I get this error message when I try to click on most of my pictures in the gallery:
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/blue/exif_bit.html
My gallery has worked flawlessly for a couple of years now but I have had some hacker attacks and maybe this one was a partially succesful one. I haven't changed or uploaded anything lately, so it's not from my side.
Any ideas? Help will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Stephen

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Hacked...again! (1.7.4)
« on: January 12, 2007, 10:43:09 PM »
Hey guys.
Last time I visited my gallery to find out that I had a new registered member with Admin rights...
Later I browsed through the 4images files with my FTP and found some wierd files (.php), which I have downloaded (so that you can take a look at them and others can avoid same problems), scanned for viruses and then deleted from the gallery.
Now when I click on the 'UPLOAD' button I get this message:
Quote
Warning: passthru() [function.passthru]: Cannot execute a blank command in /home/jetfight/public_html/4images/includes/template.php(101) : eval()'d code on line 1
I tried to take a look at the other hacked topics around but they were about different problems than mine.
Hope you can help. If you want me to post those php files from the hackers, just tell me where and I'll do it.
Best regards

Hey all.
I've tried searching but couldn't find anything related.

I recently upgraded from 1.7 to 1.7.4. Everything seemed ok initially but it seems like people cannot register in my gallery anymore. I have followed all upgrade instructions and CHMOD'ed the special template that I use too but without any luck. Any idea what could be wrong? Hope someone can help.

Best regards

Hey guys
A while ago I updated to 1.7.4 and all seemed to work ok.
However it seems like people cannot register themselves as new members. I checked the chmods as instructed but no luck. What can be wrong?

OK thanks for making me aware of that! I saw everything working so I thought that I was finished. I will add those new files to the template and change those lines as it says in the link you gave me. Thanks again!

I just upgraded from 1.7 to 1.7.4. The reason why I hadn't done it before is that I was scared that something would go wrong and I would have to use many hours (that I don't have) on trying to figure out what the problem is.
The upgrade went very smooth. The instructions are very straight-forward, simple and easy to follow.
So if YOU are wondering whether you should upgrade but you're afraid that it takes many hours, just go for it! It took me 5 minutes. And I didn't even have to do any mods to the extra template that I have!
Thank you 4homepages!

@Ivan: Thanks for the reply. A while ago (after the hack thing) I basically did all those recommended fixes (apart from upgrading to 1.7.3.
The 'invisible' comments cannot be found through the control panel either.
The reason that I haven't upgraded to 1.7.3 is that I don't have time to repair the gallery and go through all the files if something goes wrong with the upgrade and/or the template.

Thanks for the reply!

Hey!

Some of my pictures in my 4images gallery seem to have comments attached to them but when you click on the picture there are no comments. What could be wrong? Some time ago my site got hacked. Could it have somthing to do with that?

Best regards
