Category Error

First off I would hope that this hasn't been addressed, because I did follow the procedure before asking my question. If I missed a step, please forgive me.

My gallery was recently moved to my new server, and while it works. Everytime I add a category, it adds it but does not appear in FTP. It gives me this error in my admin panel when I add one:

Category added

and then when I go to delete it, it gives me this error:

Thank you for helping me, I just have one more question. I resolved that issue, but when I went to add my thumbnail it did it, but gave me this error:

Warning: getimagesize(): Read error! in /home/cwiley00/public_html/gallery/admin/thumbnailer.php on line 115

How would I resolve this?

its either again permission issue, or the image is broken.
