How does my Avatar Gallery Look?

I've been playing around with 4images, and love all of it's features. 

 I can show one type of ad to guests and another to registered users.
I can upload all of the files via ftp and have the script bulk insert them all into the database
I can have all of the images have thumbnails autogenerated

and after some trial and error, I can have people transload the images onto ImageShack.us to keep them from trying to direct link to my server.

So, even though I just used the stock template, I would like to get you opinions on how I've done so far.  Eventually I will design another template, but I wanted to get some content up before I worried too much about design.

Well, I finally decided to dedicate myself to getting this site back online. After days of intense renaming, organizing, and uploading, I finally have a functional site. A lot of the files still need to be renamed, but I will probably offer some incentive to my visitors to post comments on all of the files with what or who they represent.

I still used the imageshack transloading button, I hope that will be beneficial to my visitors. I am working on adapting an image resizer to allow people to resize the avatars to all of the common dimensions required on different forums.

I still plan on changing the design, but I wanted to get the site back up. Content before beauty, right?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Almost to 5000, with about 1000 more ready to upload, and about 2000 more waiting to be resized, renamed, and categorized. I can't wait to add better SEO URL's, since I just have the basic mod right now, not the one that displays the image name and category.

Anyone have suggestions for alternative advertising? The upper bar of adsense gets plenty of clicks, but doesn't pay well.
