4dark template problem

I check a lot of topic in this forum. Also FAQ. On my website I have installed 4images v.1.7.6 I also updated 4dark to 1.7.6 which link to I found on this forum (updated by mwanezi). Seems all should be good with captcha now. But no... there still it don't work. Therefore nobody can register, nobody can send e-cards and nobody add commments. I haven't any knowning of php. the error message from your chaptcha.php :

... Could not find/open font in /home/accounts_w/wikmail/public_html/includes/captcha_utils.php ...

... please check your fonts in /catcha/fonts ...

I check captcha folder and the font subfolder is there. Maybe problem is in chmod. But I don't know which one should be. I nothing chnaged.The screenshot of fonts folder attached.

I try change chmod to 777 but nothing change. Verification code still unavailable.

Nothing change.  Still this same situation.
Ok. But maybe there is another way. I need the registration have the verification code and I need it. But I would like everybody can send e-card from my website. With big pleasure I could remove captcha code from e-cards. How I can do it that in one place captcha will be and work good and in another remove it/disable ?

I check all link, read all aswers, check my phpinfo and folders. All is good, enabled, matching, updated. After adding the settings from captcha FAQ I have got the postcard without captcha code. And this is ok. But the registration I still can have only without captcha ( I don't want) or the captcha don't show. For this moment I set registration=0 but I would like the captcha shown me at last.

Answering on serweral suggestion:
    * CAPTCHA is disabled. enabled
    * You are using an old/custom template that does not support CAPTCHA. teemplate updated matched to 4images 1.7.6
    * Your server does not support GD library.enabled
    * Some FTP programms gernerate a log file after uploading files to a server. Make sure that in the directory /captacha/backgrounds/ on your server are ONLY the background images for the CAPTCHA and not any other files like wsftp.log, thumbs.db, etc.have there thumbs.db but deleted it

I don't understand it. Is there should shown the jpg for captcha ? If so then I don't know why it don't show. All is good. I set the background images chmod for 755.

Can you have any other suggestion what I should to do or maybe what I do wrong?

alfi, is this 4dark for Version 1.7.4 - 1.7.6 or is this the Original from Bali???

  I deleted folder /captcha. I upload it again from 4images 1.7.6.... and still don't work.  Even any change chmod of this folder and files to any other (755, 777) don't fix it.

I replaced:

I changed your captcha settings in config.php
the image was to small for 5 letters

=> i delete now all infos from your account <=

And will it work if used this:

    $path = realpath($captcha_path.'/fonts');
?

And please, if you can, for further investigation of the problem, can you quote info from phpinfo()? (change the server and local paths for your protection)
