Trouble uploading files

Hi, im having some trouble uploading my images,
this is the error message i get:


Error uploading image file:

No database entry!



Any help appreciated..thanks!

i have this exact same error. also, the installation manual says this:

 Set permissions for the following directories:

     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/media
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/thumbnails
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/tmp_media
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/tmp_thumbnails

but these folders do not exist on my server. the only folder under the folder "data" is "database"

help?

Maybe you have not uploaded the folders. Create them...

uploaded the folders from where? they were not in the package. and i have tried creating them, set them to 777, and then tried uploading pictures again, but still didn't work.



edit: OK, never mind, problem solved.

i have those files in my data folder already and all are chmod 777
but it still has that error..any ideas?
