Problem with e-card
« on: September 09, 2002, 07:48:34 AM »
I am trying to send ecard from my 4images install and i can send them just find to anything in my domain however, if i try t send it to someone outside the domain, i get the error

DB Error: RCPT TO invalid mail server response: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

went to the setting and entered the smtp user and password, but then tells me that there is a server auth error. to try removing the username and password.

Is the authorization for all amil servers the same? Do i need to set up a mail account for just 4images?

 any help
Thanks
jaye

Did you trued to set "Use SMTP server" to "No"?. This will use sendmail automatically with the php implemented function mail(). You don't have to set the path.
