images_english problem??

Hello!
I have just installed 4images ver 1.7 and also added the english language pack. I tried to upload 1 image to see how that works, and this is the problem I'm getting:

sorry, what did u try to do? upload images where? what images?
check CHMOD for folders and files as it says in the 4images installation guide

Wow! Thank you for a quick reply! :)
Sorry, I didn't make myself clear! I was just trying out this tool by creating a new category and updated 1 image. Then, when I go to http://www.tieulamtruong.com/4images - those are the errors that appear!
Please follow the link above and you'll know what I mean! :)

So I guess these errors mean that those .gif files are not granted permission to read/write/execute? Hmm.. I thought I set the chmod to all the files as instructed!!

yes, u probably already did CHMOD for /templates/ folder, but when u added new, "images_english" folder, the CHMOD might be different for that folder, or maybe CHMOD for new files.

Thank you, I got that fixed! :) You guys are great!!

hehe... but today I have another problem!!
I tried to use the auto-thumbnailer, and chose GD as the module, but I got this error: (a lot)

Warning: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10027 is not allowed to access ./../data/media/1/wallpaper01.jpg owned by uid 2526 in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/tieulamtruong.com/httpdocs/4images/admin/thumbnailer.php on line 115

what does this mean?? I was the one who uploaded these pictures, then why can't I access them? I am the administrator!??? Please help! :)

this issue is covered in the FAQ forum, and also there is a MOD to avoid SAFE MODE restriction.
and finaly just search the forum, this problem was discused tooooooooo many times:

haha... sorry! I did look at a few entries, but some are in German so it was no help to me!! So I thought I'd post it here! :) Sorry! :)

By the way, what does it mean to have the SAFE MODE on/off? how will this effect everything in my website??
