Dynamic theme/template
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:27:16 PM »
i have changed the color of my site and the structure to everything is the same.
i was wondering if its not too far fetched to make the themes dynamic. like the day it could be white and at night it could be the black and also have a little link in the footer that would allow the viewer to pick the other color and it save in a cookie or possibly a session.

my idea is similar to igoogle's dynamic themes

heres an image of what i mean. something kind of like this but involving which template folder to what time it is.

if your still unclear feel free to reply telling me so.

it is possible

i post the modcode in the next days.

Futures from my "css- switcher":
- change css with time (three day times possible)
- change css with links for users
- change css with dropdown-form for users
- change css with radio-forms for users
- save selected .css in cookie (selected style now in every site of this homepage)
- option to test the php servertime (only for the css change over time)
- option to edit the php servertime (only for the css change over time)
