I am already running a site with

4images/data/fullsize/####.jpg
4images/data/thumbs/####.jpg

so now I installed a clean 4images with

4images2/

directory.
I have already copied all the info from config.php and tried to change constants.php as well, but it didn't help.
DB works perfectly, all names, descriptions, user db, etc came over, but non of the images show up.

How can I fix this?

I tried to define the paths, but was not successful.

They are both on same server. just 4images and 4images2

Yeah but that's pretty complicated for a simple task. I thought V@no's description above was pretty easy and straight forward, but I assume google changed their structure so now it doesn't let you use the &.swf to use them as flash?

Now I get this error

Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/default/media/.html

Same problem with mine. It must have something to do with the thumbnail display on index under "new images" since it happes in the thumnail view..
How do we fix it?

EDIT:
OK, I copied swf.html and uploaded a copy as .html  (blank.html) so it works, the home page and thumbs work, however when I click on it, it doesn't display anything. Is there any other way of adding google video to the 4images

I want to extract date/time picture was taken. I am sure it is up there somewhere in German, but need in English, if possible.

Caption, headline, venue, location, etc..
I don't think you can add these to exif.


you just have to modify 4images to add these attributes to DB along with whatever else you want to be there, you would include these when you upload the pix. Just like you would specify name, details, keywords, etc..

What you are asking about is THEME/TEMPLATE related, not EXIF MOD related.
If you can use the same template, you can put Exif info anywhere you want in that templete.
PLUS, the portion where you say "Photo Exif Info" is not exif information, it is just customized file information, which you can possibly achieve by modifying 4images db fields for image attributes (date/time/download/file name/ etc..) so you can add them when you upload the image.

How do I add/remove some of the information displayed? There were some German posts but I could not understand them.

I am running this on 1.7 and it seems to work fine.
 however it is not displaying "Date Picture Taken" information from the picture. It only shows the date I added the picture under 4images details.

How can I add "Date Picture Taken" attribute to the list? I tried so search for Date in this topic, but could not see anything.
Yes, my pictures carry this attribute on them, but it is not being displayed.

The field for this is "DateTimeOriginal" or "DateOriginal" I think.

Any help is appreciated.

For those of us who have 1.7 set up with a lot of mods, plugins, manual modifications, etc... it would be total pain to upgrade to 1.7.4 or anything that'll come after these. I have not kept track of my mods, and I wouldn't know where to start. Unless I want to move over to a clean 1.7.4

This is a great mod, and I hope it will work as intended on my setup.

I would like to add mandatory field for members.

I am running 1.7 and I have a lot of spams on my site, I believe they figured out a way to activate by robot and come back and post junk everywhere.
I cannot afford upgrade to 1.7.4 because of all the modifications I have done to my site.

All I need is a logical/mandatory field for Comments posting AND/OR registration.
I asked around how to add CAPTCHA to 1.7 but I was told it may not be possible. If it is possible I can just add captcha that would be great, if not I would like to add something like a random question that they would have to fill before commenting otherwise it would not accept it.

are you planning to add the core functionality like rating, lightbox, comments, download, etc to your template? It is a very good concept, but it would work for a personal picture gallery, otherwise it is not as functional for a complete website, otherwise nice and clean.
