Integation of 4images
« on: January 26, 2006, 02:18:21 PM »
Hi, let me say this is a great script!
I plan on using this script for our local Arts Council, but my main question is, how can I integrate 4images into a current webpage?
I would like visitors to have the main menu of my site along with navigation?

I'd like to stay away from iframes if possile.

Thanks everyone!

... is possible ... by editing of your main templates ... integrate there your existing navigations menue ...
... e.g. like this ...
Code: [Select]
<?
@include("your_navigations_menue.php");
?>
( ... your_navigations_menue.php can be a html-file -> renamed as php-file ... )

... or integrate a new/existing navigations menue by editing of /templates/<your_template>/logininfo.html , loginform.html ...
... and other solutions are possible ...

Yes, thanks for that info, very helpful.

I believe 4images is template based so could I edit the template files (tpl) so that it will contain all of my page components?

Thanks

yes, 4images is template based (.html) and yes, you can change the templates to fit to your site.
You can not integrate 4images into already existing page (without frames), but you can adjust 4images templates to fit into your site ;)
