second comment direct after his first comment
« on: July 18, 2005, 03:07:05 PM »

The problem appear only if a registered user have post a comment. If he now  would add some lines he couldn’t  post a second comment direct after his first comment until someone else has post a comment.

Maybe it’s a kind of spam-protection?

Have anyone an idea for a workaround to solve this problem?

yes, it is a flood protection, everyone (exept for admins) must wait 3 minutes before they be able post next comment for the same image. They could post comments to other images though.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)

Is there any way to change this 3 minutes value of a flood protection?
To, for example, 1 minute?
IMHO, 3 mins is a bit excessive value  :|

I would like to change mine as well to 90 seconds.
What file needs to be edited to make this change?

Goto admin/comments.php

Find
Code: [Select]
$limitnumber = 5000;
I changed this value to 0 and I could disable spam check but that's all i know   :|

I'll try to test it with other values and let you guys know.. maybe Mr. V can come up with a better solution..  :D
