UltraEdit is the best I've tryed too! thx, guys!
Chris, dreamweaver MX is good too, exept that it work EXTREAMLY slow on my Windows XP machine, I need wait about 5-10 sec until it start then my CPU loads at 25% (I would stick with dreamweaver, since I've bought it already..but..)

dont think u can do it as registered user, but from admin panel u can do it:
'edit image'

it's not pleasant start uploading a file, wait 5 min untill it give u error message " not valid file extention ".

what php editor is very good?
I've tryed PHPEd, PHPEdit, notpad, macromedia dreamweaver, EditPad. phped and dreamweaver work extreamely slow on WinXP, the rest is just toys.
how about u guys? what do u use? what can u recomend (free, not free)?

if u add some images to lightbox and then edit an image and change its location (category) then in lightbox thumbnails will be missing, because it will point to old category id folder for e.x.:
I have 3 images 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg all of them in category 'general' with ID '1'.
I move 2.jpg to category 'general2' with ID '2', then when I click on 1.jpg to see it wont show me 2.jpg thumbnail in 'next' link, because the actual link for the thumbnail will point to /thumbnail/1/2.jpg witch is wrong, since 2.jpg already in /thumbnails/2/2.jpg

P.S. I have anabled next image thumbnail in details.php

forgot to mention, that thumbnails missing only in 'next/previous' links when u view an image (details.php). in category view everything is fine.

ah, ok, then, can someone make a script that would make height proportional fixed width? as in picture resize, we just tell the script what width we want and it proportionaly resize it...

now got another question: why if I put Width but dont put any Height parrameters, Height stays fixed (cant say exact size) it doesnt resize proportionaly.
can I fix it and use only Width parrameter?

check max_execution_time in php.ini
if your upload time longer then in this setting then u'll get that error.

I checked the script, its nearly the same code as i use in 4images. So the original email.php should work. Maybe you have entered the wrong host or something. Or try to use for "Admin email" the email adress you are registered at the mailserver.

Yep, set all like that:
Admin email: myusername@runbox.com
SMTP Server: smtp.runbox.com

I registered at runbox.com and tried it with my own account. It seems that the mailserver don't accept any CC or BCC entries. I guess you should have to look for another freemailer...

mmm...actualy I pay for this email, since they provide 100meg with 10meg+ email send/receive, no spam, pop3/web. soon they gonna open file storage too.

I can send email to my runbox.com account using the BCC field just fine.  I tested by using another freemailer myrealbox.com, not 4images though.

yes, that what I said, there is something in mail.php script or somewhere else.

There is nothing to fix...

yes, have tryed both variants.
the server requered AUTH login for SMTP servers.

Try to replace "includes/email.php" with the file in the zip.

Download: email_auth_plain.zip

1. ok, I think I lost. what is supposed to appier if u use BCC?
for ex. if I register 3 different email adresses and using outlook express to check them, and admin will send an email to one of those 'users', I'll receive the email but it wont tell me witch 'user' got it, since in 'TO' will be admin email adress. (is that supposed to be like that?)

2. replaced email.php but it didnt help, it shows the same error message, exept now it sais AUTH PLAIN at the beginning. the script I've tryed to use ( http://www.uebimiau.sili.com.br/ ) works just fine.

btw, I've tryed few webmail scripts that uses POP/SMTP servers, they works just fine with runbox.
so, guess the problem somewhere in 4images script.
