I hope I am in right place to post this.

I have a small issue with my "Who is Online". It shows a comma ( , ) at the end of the list. See the Picture

Number of commas is One less than total user online.

When there are many users online, it doesn’t look good.

I cant get why its coming . It’s not coming from whos_online.html.

I have attached whos_online.html if u like to have a look.

Hi

I have set my 4images to use "Register by By E-mail". I mean user get an activation e-mail.

Is their anyway that I being admin can get the mail as well? ? With user name, Location and e-mail address.
(Location is my custom user field)

I believe there was a topic before the hack which does something like this by editing register.php.

Chit Chat / "Link to Us" Script ?

Anybody know of some nice looking "Link To Us" script that is easy to integrate with 4Images ?

The script may not be rich in features but It should be Easily integrate able with 4images.

By integrate I just mean the I should be able to show the links inside 4images.

Or anyone like to suggest  some different solution?

These days I am customizing my registration page. I just want to add something and I need help how to do this.

I want to have this

Password
Confirm Password
E-Mail
Confirm-Email

Basically, I want users to enter password and e-mail twice to confirm it.

One Big Problem here 

For some reason, I can’t use  {lang_user_realname} and other language tags in my html files (of my additional fileds). Other than that I m getting these additional fields working well.

Currently, I have added manually the title of these fields in my register_form.html, member_profile.html, member_editprofile.html so at least users can see them. But when I go to admin panel to edit/add a new user I see them blank.

So can someone give me any hint? What possible mistake it could be?

To add new user text fields to the database so that you know more details about who is registering please follow these instructions.

Hi

What I want to ask is
Is there a way I can get certain info about user from ACP? Mainly, Upload images & comments but with dates. (in form of a page with links to the images and comments)  With an option to reset these statistics after certain time (manually or automatic).

Now let me explain why I thought so. I was think to give some rewards based on users activity. Like a user who upload 100 images and give 50 comments in 20/30 days will get something. In my case it might be free internet hours.

So I want to get this info in one place.

Please don’t laugh if I am asking for something stupid.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Different Column no for Subcategories

Hi,

In ACP I have this "Number of table cells" under Category Setting which apply to both Main categories and subcategories as whole.
A kind of global settings for number of columns.

Is it possible that I can show 2 column for Main categories and 3/4 columns for subcategories? Not necessarily from ACP. I am happy to change it from any file. (Hardcode these settings)

It’s because in some categories I have more than 30 subcategories and it doesn’t look good esp if I can have 4 columns to show.
(I don’t have any description for subcategories so I have some space to use)

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Resetting Few things

Hi,

I want to give a whole new start to my 4Images gallery. Basically, I got a new feature from my Host (Host more than one domain)
So I am moving my 4images from my sub domain to a new domain (keeping everything in the same folder just renaming it)

I have 45 categories with 3000 Images.

I want to delete all images & categories and then upload everything. But with current settings, new categories will start from 46 and news images will be from 3001.

What can I do that when I add new categories and images they start from 1. So that it look like a new site.

Kind of resetting  Images & Categories Table from database. (Without any problem)

Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / Combine Registration -- Xoops + 4images. Possible??

I remember my very first post in this forum was about integration with Xoops (with separate DB). But now I have convinced myself that it’s not possible.
I did find a module in xoops.org that let install 4images as a module BUT it limits not to use so many mods and hack that I love to have. So it didn’t work for me.

But I desperately was looking for something that could be of some use. So I m going to ask this.

Is this possible that the standard XOOPS registration page can be used to register the user at 4IMAGES. 4Images registration need 3 things ( Username, Pwd and Email ) while Xoops have a lot of other options. So is there any way around this can be done. ( I mean using one input filed for two different Databases)

I am not a programmer but I hope my words are understandable. Pardon me if I am asking something stupid.
But if this could be done, users will need not to register twice and they will have one user name on both scripts. (Certainly the need to login separately But at least it will be of some use coz Something is better than nothing)

I hope I am at right place to ask this and I hope this request make sense to others as well.

I m using 4images for my wallpaper website. So most of the time I have a main category with 4/5 subcategories and I upload all of my images in subcategories folder. Like main category "NATURE" and subcategories “Flower, Animals, Trees, etc..."

But when I am in main category "Nature" it shows

"Found: 0 image(s) on 0 page(s). Displayed: image 0 to 0."
There are no images in this category. “

So mainly I use "Main category” just to group them together at one place for easy navigation. (I don’t upload anything to main Category)

NOW ... What I m looking is that "Is it possible to show total no of images 4m subcategory to main category and also showing random thumbnails when u r in the main category page if main category is empty”?? ??

So if I have 300 images in 3 subcategories it will look like this

"Found: 300 image(s) on 12 page(s). Displayed: image 1 to 25."
And by clicking these thumbnails u go directly to that image in subcategory ..

Hi
I hope I m in right forum. (That’s my first Post)

I have installed Xoops (2.0.10) and 4images (1.7.1) successfully and both of them are working fine. Xoops is my main site (mydomain.com) and 4images at (images.mydomain.com).

Now I "JUST" want that if a user is registered On XOOPS he/she can login from 4images main page and otherwise( 4images to xoops).
4images and Xoops use separate database (My SQL).

I Hope I m not looking for something impossible.
