Title: Hi, looking for a host.

Hi, I am looking for a host for my galleries! My host supports php, mysql and things such as that, but I have done everything I can to make it work, and it does not, so I am hoping someone will host my galleries, thanks!

the problem on my server, is I get it installed. I do EVERYTHING the readme tells me to do. and then I install it, and then I go to thumbnail, and it doesnt work. the bibliotheck (sp) one, that works without a path. I have safe mode on, but I did the safe mode camo thing, and still doesnt work. I need major help with this.

Hello;
maybe your host has severe restrictions on "PHPSUEXEC", so you cannot make desired permissions trough your 4images interface, as the rules say it is forbidden for "apache" user.
One common way is to go to your admin control panel, provided by your host, or simply by FTP client, and each time 4images creates a category, you will have to delete/re-create or simply create it (common issue for Plesk users), without forgetting to create the same category_id in thumbnails, giving it permissions with CHMOD 777, if host allows.
Example:
Gallery category number one:
Delete/Create or simply create folder /your_site/data/media/1/ with CHMOD 777, to be sure you can upload images to category having cat_id=1.
Where 1 is the ID of your category (visible in 4images Administrator Control Panel)
Delete/Create or simply create folder /your_site/data/thumbnails/1/ with HMOD 777, otherwise you will never be able to create any thumbnail.

Wow, I think im computer retarded in some aspects, I got nothing you just posted, Sorry. thats why im looking for a host for my galleries. my last host, I had NO problem with it. I DO NOT recommend getting hosting by Active Web Hosting.

The page is in the dutch language. Eng language maybe soon aviable.

Here is a translation:
Galerie Naam = Gallery name (the name of you gallery or site)
Galerie Category = Gallery Catagory (cats are in english :wink:)
Administrator gebruikersnaam = Administrator username (your login name on the gallery)
Administrator wachtwoord = Administrtor password (your password for your gallery)
Administrator wachtwoord [ Bevestigen ] = Administrtor password [ again ]
Admin Email Address = Administrator Email adress (your Email adres)

You can host it for free on my server if you dont expect more tnah 1000 unique hits per day.
