and i think a news system is okay becouse peaple that only have the gallery they can lso info posting so i think it's a good idee

I believe like others that the gallery should NOT have its own forum system. I also believe that is should pick a forum to be designed around and I believe that forum should be phpBB v2.2.

For instance.. modify the user table to mimic phpBB. Use all of phpBBs authentication and session management. This way the gallery could stay independant yet completely compatible with phpBB.

One needs to pick their poison so to speak and I think that the horse to ride here is phpBB.
