Chris, I just tryed it. first of all backup from admin panel 4images creat file almost twice bigger then phpmyadmin (uncompressed). and when I tryed import that file mysql gave critical error.
maybe I did something wrong. or maybe it's because of the bug in php v4.2.3 and phpmyadmin.
so, refo, try yourself and see witch way would work for u the best.

have u tryed make copy of your 4images folder as e.x. 4images2 and make a copy of DB with different name.
then reinstall into 4images2 folder intire script then copy your old config file from 4images folder, edit it so it will use new 4images2 DB, then edit settings so it wont use anything from old 4images folder.
and then see if it works?
if u do this way u wont loose anything but u'll find out if your old script was screwed by virus.

ok, u have choise:
1. upload one-by-one picture trough admin conrol panel or from category view.
2. creat a category. locate it's folder (/your-4images-folder/data/media/number-of-your-category-folder/) upload pictures into that folder. then from admin conrol panel click on 'check new images', choose your category and go.
3. download and install 'Batch Import' MOD:

well, I dont know about 'backup' way, but can export all your DB to a file through PHPMyAdmin and then restore it on another host. I have done that before.

zipper, I tryed on my site with [EDITED]Sailors[/EDITED] code...was clicking for 5 min. nothign cameup instead of warnign.
I could explain if that could happend on slow computers..I probably wrong though.

zipper, as I can see u have another post about uploading bigger images then it's restricted...maybe something wrong with your computer? it's just going through any restrictions, any barriers...hehe, just kidding.

I was trying do this way so users would receive emails from admin that shows the name I put, in "From: ", not email address.
yes, it works, but in field "To: " users receive " > " nothing else. instead of that was supposed to be his (user's) email(?)...or mybe admin's email(?).

P.S. I'm using SMTP for sending emails.

bxmas13, it seems that php server doesnt correctly define what version GD is installed.

has almost all those features but only few of them can be show to the public as on my page. but again it's stand alone script that doesnt have anything with 4images....
