What "start address" url do u use? I hope you are not trying make a copy of files located on your local computer...we are talking about sites which we access by web addresses such as http://www.4homepages.de

strange indeed...
Some how I suspect that "broken" HTML code on your page is causing it. Like you have two <title> and <style> in the page and one of them is outside of <head></head> tags..

Its not about repeated tags, its about stuff that your have above {header} tag.
Like in home.html you have:[qcode]<title>|  metrica|studio  |</title>
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
   background-image: url();
}
.style1 {
   font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
   font-size: xx-small;
}
-->
</style>
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

{header}[/qcode]
in details.html:
Code: [Select]
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

{header}
Remove everything above {header} then you might be able to copy your site properly.

First fix your template! Its a mess (sorry)
just look in the source of your page, you'll see two sets of <head> and <body> tags in it...

[EDIT]
Just used teleport and made successfull copy of your site...

tnks

I did changed some of the tags and tested here it worked
i know my code is a mess as i told you i´m not a coder, i just try

I´m so insistent in a php/mysql cd because i will be updating many things to my site
but some times i will need some actualized cd
and if a cd like that works, i will only need to add those new folders and new sql file
also with functionability as random images etc

really V@no you as an expert in coding maybe you can figure out how
as i told you there are a few "codes" to experiment but i cannot get to connect to mysql as localhost
if i can make it to work maybe those cd´s will work

i think it could be a nice challenge for the forum people, maybe you can post it
